一、关于小作文

首先我们来看看,考研英语考试大纲规定的应用文写作(俗称小作文)的考试范围吧------考生应能掌握个人或公用信函,通知,备忘录,以及报告等。

纵观历年真题的全部小作文,我们就会发现通知只考了3次,信考了18次,其他应用文未考过。哪些信是重点呢?

请看下面我列出的历年真题的全部考题。不难发现,像建议、推荐,都是考得非常多的。道歉、投诉、邀请、欢迎、感谢、祝贺、辞职、求助、咨询,都分别有一两次考到。

值得一提的是,考试时考生看到的小作文部分的题目是全英文的,所以,有一定比例的宝宝即使提前背诵了所考类型的小作文范文或模板,但因为没能读懂英文的考试要求(Directions,所以TA根本不知道要求写的是什么种类的信函,细节就更不知道。所以写的文不对题,几乎没有什么分数。

2017Directions:

   You are to write an email to James Cook, a newly-arrived Australian professor, recommending some tourist attraction in your city. Please give reasons for your recommendation.
